Look at this old ironstone (Terre de Fer) beauty - minimalist, rustic farmhouse with a history. How has it survived so long and in such incredible condition?!
The backstamp (maker's mark) on this serving bowl is from the Creil and Montereau factory in France during the Lebeuf, Milliet est Cie partnership. The stamp indicates that the company won a Gold Medal in 1834 and 1839.
